Legendary choreographer Saroj Khan left for her heavenly abode this morning after suffering a cardiac arrest. The legendary choreographer was admitted to the hospital a few days ago as she complained about breathing issues. She was 71 years old. As the news of her demise took over the internet, tributes and condolences started pouring in from all corners. Many celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, Madhuri Dixit, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kajol, Sonam Kapoor and others took to social media to express grief. Many televisions stars also mourned Saroj Khan's death.
Mere Dad Ki Dulhan actress Shweta Tiwari took to her social media account to share a throwback picture with Saroj Khan and wrote, "#RIPAmma." Sharad Malhotra recalled the first time he met Saroj Khan and wrote, "Vividly remember meeting Saroj ji also fondly called " Masterji" for the very first time on the sets of her dance show #nachlevewithsarojkhan.. Was indeed such an honour, a dream come true to watch and learn from the original bollywood dance queen herself....We'd also heard alot about her famous Seeti ( whistle) and felt so surreal to have experienced it first hand as she complimented us for the performance ! Thankyou for all the love, warmth & teachings #yourlegacywillliveon."
Mouni Roy also paid her tribute to Saroj Khan by sharing a throwback picture and calling herself lucky as she got to learn a few steps from the late choreographer. Other TV stars like Varun Badola, Arjun Bijlani, Sidharth Shukla, Rashami Desai, Gauahar Khan, and many more mourned her death.
